Brian is the Chief Executive Officer at blinkx, responsible for corporate vision and growth and all operating functions of the firm. With a strong entrepreneurial and engineering background, over his career, Brian has transformed and built growth platforms for technology-enabled businesses. Brian joined blinkx in 2011 through the acquisition of Prime Visibility Media Group, Inc. (PVMG), where he was the President & CEO and was instrumental in its rapid revenue and profitability growth and eventual sale to blinkx. Prior to PVMG, Brian was the SVP & Group MD at Miva, Inc. (NASDAQ: MIVA), responsible for the global operations of its Media Division, with offices in the US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and India. Before MIVA, as VP & GM, he acquired and ran the Contract Management Solutions business of Selectica, Inc. (NASDAQ: SLTC) and helped transform the Enterprise Software offering to one of the earliest SaaS models in the sector, accelerating revenue growth and profitability. Earlier in his career, Brian held executive, staff and line management positions at two venture-backed Internet start-ups, playing pivotal roles in raising capital, mergers and acquisitions, and building high-performance sales, marketing, services, business development, engineering and operating teams. Brian started his career as an Engineer and worked as a Strategy Consultant at CapGemini Ernst & Young. He holds B.E. (Honors) and M.S. (Honors) degrees in Engineering, and an M.B.A. (Honors) from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
Edward Reginelli is the Chief Financial Officer of blinkx. Edward joined the company in April 2012. He has over 15 years of experience, managing all aspects of financial accounting, controls, analysis, operations and reporting in complex corporate environments. Before joining the company, he was Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Purple Communications, Inc., a company that specialized in technology enabled interpreting and telecommunication services. Prior to this he served as Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Burke Industries, Inc. and held other senior financial positions at Compass Aerospace, PPG Industries and Nestle USA. Edward holds a B.S in Business Administration and Accounting from John Carroll University, Ohio and is a registered Certified Public Accountant.
Frank Pao is the Chief Business Officer of blinkx, having joined the company in 2011. Frank has over 18 years of executive management experience within the technology industry in both venture-funded and public companies. Previously, he served as president and chief executive officer of intelligent video analytics company Vidient Systems, where he led the turnaround of the company. Before that, he was president of Verity and chief operating officer at Autonomy, Inc. where he had full operating responsibility for both organizations, and helped drive and integrate several successful acquisitions. Prior to Autonomy, Frank was senior vice president, Business Affairs at Virage, a leader in video search that he helped to take public. Earlier, he specialized in intellectual property and licensing transactions at the law firm of Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich (now DLA Piper). Frank earned a B.S. in bioengineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley.
Dan Slivjanovski is head of Marketing at blinkx, responsible for strategic brand direction, corporate communications/investor relations, product marketing and sales support. A veteran strategy consultant and agency executive, Dan's expertise lies in anticipating sector trends and emerging customer needs while also helping to define and implement corporate growth strategies. Dan's knowledge base covers comprehensive digital advertising elements, with specialization in online video, cross-screen targeting, and programmatic trading. Dan brings 20 years of senior experience in digital marketing, management consulting and agency services to his role as head of Marketing. Prior to joining blinkx, Dan was Executive Vice President of HNW Inc, a marketing consultancy focused on the financial services and luxury sectors, where his clients included Citibank, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Charles Schwab. Previously, he served as Senior Consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, LLC as well as a Senior Associate at APCO Worldwide. Dan earned his B.S. from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management.
Sudhi Herle is the Chief Product Officer at blinkx, leading the product and engineering efforts across the enterprise. Before joining blinkx, Sudhi was consulting CTO at Mobiliya, a startup delivering vertical specific Android OS & Cloud middleware. At Mobiliya, Sudhi spearheaded development and launch of an enhanced version of Google Android readily customized for a variety of non-traditional markets, like Kiosks, point-of-sale systems, automotive in-dash and industrial controls. Prior to Mobiliya, Sudhi was head of Enterprise Products at Samsung, overseeing Product Management, Engineering and Business Development for Samsung Mobile Enterprise business, globally. He was instrumental in creating and launching the security focused Samsung Knox platform as well as formulating the global enterprise strategy for Samsung Mobile. Between 2008 and 2011, Sudhi established and managed three premier carrier facing R&D organizations, focused on Android product delivery in the United States. He was instrumental in launching the first Samsung Android devices in Verizon Wireless. Before Samsung, Sudhi was head of engineering at Sipera (Avaya), a VoIP security startup, responsible for the design and implementation of the multi-gigabit VoIP security appliance based on the Cavium Octeon. Sudhi holds more than 30 technology patents. He has an M.S. from Temple University in Computer Science and an M.S. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in Math & Computer Science.
Bhaskar Ballapragada is head of Supply at blinkx, responsible for all traffic acquisition including display, video, desktop and mobile and is also responsible for operating blinkx’s programmatic business. An experienced Engineering and Management executive, Bhaskar has over 16 years of experience within the Internet and Technology sectors. He specializes in running advertising platforms with high volume transactions and building optimization routines to improve advertiser ROI. Bhaskar joined blinkx in 2011 and during his tenure, has introduced numerous products and technologies, managed several businesses, navigated the organization through up and down markets, and increased revenues and profitability year over year.
Prior to blinkx, Bhaskar was a Senior Engineer at Damon S. Williams Associates, an Engineering Consulting firm. Bhaskar earned a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from IIT, Bombay, a P.H.D. in Engineering from the University of Washington and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Sandy Demitroff is SVP, Operations and People for blinkx and is responsible for overseeing operational excellence and efficiency across the company, and for all human resources functions. She fosters an innovative culture where high performance and creativity are valued. Sandy has over 20 years of digital marketing, premium and programmatic advertising, integrated online solutions, business development, relationship management, operations, HR, technology and media experience. She has been with the company for the past 5 years. Prior to taking on this corporate role she was responsible for the interactive product and services division that included Burst Media (an established ad tech company) and Prime Visibility (an award-winning full service digital marketing agency). In addition to her corporate duties, she continues to manage the strategic direction and development of Prime Visibility. Before joining blinkx, Sandy was CEO and co-founder of HNW, a leading provider of strategy and interactive solutions for the wealth market. Prior to HNW, Sandy spearheaded the development of Worth.com, where as chief operating officer she led content creation, design, e-commerce and technology integration across three verticals: wealth, living and giving. She also served as senior vice president of Capital Publishing, where she managed circulation, production, human resources, media relations and technology, and helped launch The American Benefactor magazine. Sandy graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor's degree in business and psychology.
